It still has to pass the House and there is a lot of pork added to pass the Senate that the deficit hawks in the House will likely object to.

Bad idea there. Raising taxes suppresses economic activity; it results in less tax revenue for the government, which is why even commie nations have lower corporate taxes than we do.

Raising taxes does not result in less revenue. That’s just some “tinkle-down economics” bullshit.

Turns out the Senate bill got rid of that (the EV tax). So I stand corrected.

But I still oppose the provisions of this outside the extensions of the 2017 tax cuts.

Although I don’t think that unrestrained deficit spending is good, I’m not as obsessed with it as some people are and I don’t want my taxes to go up either.
