Adams can win if Sliwa drops out, but it's still not really a sure thing.Momdani got 430,000 first round votes out of 1 million cast. In 2021, in the primary, Adams got 290,000 votes in the first round and 400,000 in the final round, out of 980,000 votes cast. In the general, Adams got 750,000 votes and Sliwa got 310,000. So in 2021, there were 980,000 votes in the primary and only 1.06 million in the general. Not much of an increase. Maybe there will be more votes in this general election, but Adams will need most of Sliwa's votes AND most of Cuomo's votes to have a chance. |
