Posted by LuchAAA on Fri Jun 20 17:52:36 2025 Strong storms hit NYC yesterday afternoon, knocking down some trees.Maspeth seemed to be hit hardest. Bill from Maspeth lives in Maspeth and might be dealing with damage. Bushwick saw some trees knocked down on DeKalb. |

A large branch came down on my sidewalk blocking half of it. We called 311. Parks Dept. inspected it today. The put a orange plastic bow around it to show it was inspected. Lord knows when the damage will be cleaned up.Lot's of damage in the neighborhood. One tree blocking half the road on 60th St. even a day later; tree down on 69th St. at the Post Office; several down on Flushing Ave. near 61st St. and on 61st St. from where it begins at Fresh Pond Rd. till St. Stans Church. |
