Spider-Pig's party guts the Antisemitism Awareness Act
Posted by Orange Blossom Special on Sun May 4 00:45:04 2025 Still showing no shame, or slowdown. -------- Democrats turned against the Antisemitism Awareness Act because their party had become increasingly antisemitic. But unwilling to directly vote against it, Sen. Bernie Sanders and other Dems and one Libertarian Republican, Sen. Rand Paul, joined forces to gut it by taking a bill meant to fight antisemitism and packing it with carve-outs for antisemites. Their antisemites. Notably campus Hamas supporters. The Antisemitism Awareness Act, in its current state, now exists to protect supporters of killing Jews on college campuses. That means Republicans are likely to vote against it and Democrats will accuse Republicans of not caring about antisemitism. As a practical matter, the will to enforce civil rights matters less than bills. The Biden administration chose to ignore antisemitism. The Antisemitism Awareness Act is no substitute for a government willing to act and even as the Trump admin has tried to move against campus hate, personnel in the Department of Justice have obstructed those moves, and leaked to the media, while judges and the media have rallied to support campus terrorist supporters. The actions of the Senate Dems in gutting the Antisemitism Awareness Act just shows that the degree of the party’s complicity in antisemitism goes all the way to the top.

Even now, the useful idiot who was their defacto. leader in congress, super Jew AKA schmuck schumer has outlived his usefulness to the party and is being replaced by a guy named hakeem. Alas, democrats are now saying Fetterman is "getting worse".

People like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene voted against it in the House because it didn't allow carve outs to say that Jews killed Jesus. As a result, Senator Cassidy of Louisiana put in a provision allowing that.

FDR turned the Democrats in to the majority party in this country with his programs, Truman finished off WW II and led to postwar recovery and prosperity, Kennedy inspired my generation to a belief in a better America, though his sexual cheating was shit for the birds and a loss of respect from me and others. If you notice, I never mentioned Wilson because he was a rotten racial bigot while his stubborn attitude after WWI killed much of his legacy. Again you can't put me in a box and say all concervatives must think alike and walk a straight line. We come in all sizes and shapes. Unfortunately, many of them harbor ill feelings for minorities and the right to think for ourselves on each issues, much like the other party seems to lean today. Over and out.

His programs were unconstitutional and prolonged the Depression, not to mention grew the power of the presidency way beyond its constitutional limits; the only thing that got the country back on its feet was WWII, and it was almost too late before that. Forgot about his turning away of the MS Saint Louis in 1939? That's how much he was appeasing Adolf. As for Wilson, it was his stubborn attitude during WWI that got the innocent people on the Lusitania killed. And that after he kept sending his little notes to the Kaiser begging him not to torpedo ships that would be carrying US citizens. Took him almost three years before he finally acted, because the US people prevailed upon him to enter the war after the Zimmermann telegram came to light (know what that was? where the Germans were actually planning to invade the US homeland via Mexico). And why are you not telling me this? Didn't you once tell me you were a history teacher? Don't put words in my mouth. I never said at any time that "conservatives must think alike and walk in a straight line"—but sharing thoughts with those on the left absolutely does not make one conservative in any way, shape or form. You are the one who needs to shed rigidity of thinking.

Do you or do you not acknowledge that Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana) added an amendment to the Antisemitism Awareness Act that would define statements to the effect of Jews killed Jesus as not being anti-Semitic? Do you or do you not think that accusing Jews of killing Jesus is anti-Semitic? Are you capable of just answering "yes" or "no" to the questions above? If the answer to that is "no", then it is quite clear that you are the one denying reality and projecting your truths on others in an attempt to deflect.

I will certainly affirm that accusing Jews of killing Jesus is not only antisemitic but a lie. (And that's aside from the Christian doctrine that Jesus was raised from the dead.) Now what you need to stop doing is denying the RINO (left-wing Republican) phenomenon. It's prevalent and pervasive; it was one of the primary goals of communists. I already pointed out that Cassidy is a RINO. Stop calling them right wing when they are the opposite. This is the umpteenth time in this thread that I've essentially repeated myself. As for his "New Deal" start with his repeal of prohibition, WPA. REA (rural electrification Administration) & CCC that put many Americans back to work. While its true he tried to "pack the bench" of the SC with his own people to get approval of all his programs, the American voter didnt hold that against him. But the coming of WWII ended the depression once and for all. Why? because that put everybody back to work. And it was despicable what he did to Japanese Americans. But overall, he was looked at as a savior, faults and all, in which history has treated well. The bottom line here is he helped more people than he hurt.
