Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is facing backlash after images on social media appeared to show the left-wing firebrand cutting in line in front of passengers in wheelchairs while boarding a flight in Atlanta over the weekend.
Comes after Crockett called Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbot, who is paralyzed from the waist down and uses a wheelchair, “Governor Hot Wheels” while speaking at an LGBT advocacy event in Los Angeles in March.
Crockett, is viewed by some in the media as a rising star within the Democratic Party.
Fox News Digital first reported that Crockett was the first passenger to board the Delta Airlines flight.
The Texas Democrat disputed that her “hot wheels” comment referred to Abbott using a wheelchair, claiming she was referring to “the planes, trains and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors
The Washington Free Beacon previously reported that the congresswoman “liked” Facebook posts referring to Abbott as “hot wheels” in 2021.
Also over the weekend, Crockett appeared to suggest that college graduates should “use a chair” as a weapon during a commencement address in Jackson, Mississippi.
