I vehemently disagree with Trump in so far as annexing Canada as the 51st State but I have no problem with the following steps taken in the following order:
1. Rename the Atlantic Ocean as the American Ocean - East
2. Rename the Pacific Ocean as the American Ocean - West
3. Take control of the Panama Canal
3. Annex the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Marianas, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island, Seranilla Bank, and Bajo Nuevo Bank.
4. Annex Greenland and, since it is nearby and too small to fight back, Iceland.
5. Annex the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
6. Break apart Canada and annex British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba Persontoba, Ontario, and Quebec individually. Then, so the former Canada can save face, combine Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador into a single entity, formerly Atlantic Canada, into a single state whose name will be decided at some point.
This will mean America will have 78 States and have more revenue to disseminate as he/she/they sees fit as well as a military-industrial complex that will be the envy of the rest of the world whatever is left. It is best for all involved to rename and annex under the American flag, which will need to be redesigned, all at once instead of piecemeal although Latin America remains squarely in our sights. That it has taken this long to see the light is just bewildering to me.
