TSA Confiscates Loaded Guns at EWR

There were a couple unrelated incidents on Saturday involving New Jersey residents being caught with 9mm handguns loaded with multiple rounds in carry-on bags. Hopefully, both associates actors will be released with not so much as a slap on the wrist since they told authorities they forgot the handguns were with them and the loaded weapon in the bag was an quote oversight close quote. That is perfectly reasonable and understandable.

The United States during the 18th and 19th centuries had a widespread tradition of banning guns from certain locations.

I thought guns were illegal in New Jersey.

Regardless, "my bad" "I didn't know they were in there", "my grandmother packed my bag for me" are all valid excuses.

Guns are not illegal in NJ; the Second Amendment is the supreme law. Whatever laws are on the books in NJ are unconstitutional and can be struck down by the SCOTUS.
