What do you disagree with Noem about? She advocates for Medicaid cuts and opposed the Affordable Care Act, does not support same sex marriage and gay rights in general, fought marijuana legalization, and opposes abortion. She also belongs to the Foursquare Church, a somewhat strange denomination. Again, this doesn't really matter, because of my focus on jobs. |

No reason in particular, but it seems that back then, laws and policies were normal and rational. If you committed a crime, you got locked up, there were no Jim Crow policies like there are today, the mopes knew the police were going to lock them up if they created tomfoolery in the streets, etc... |

Because it's been proven statistically (that is by real sources and media, not your average gen z online version), and by peoples experiences that at least half of job openings are not real. And this commerical proves my theory that it's good for politicians.Reminds me of a local municipality to me last year gloating about how sales taxes are up, and they claimed that inflation has NOTHING AT ALL to do with it. Math and reality isn't politicians strong suits. |

I loved the NYC of the 60's & 70's, with the guys pushing racks in the garment district, the meat packing district, dining the Automat or a steak dinner at Tads, the Camel sign puffing smoke, the porn of 42nd Street, the hookers in the street that looked good before aids and crack made them walking skeletons, R1-9's, Checker cabs (which I drove) and many other things. |

I have a liberal position on these social issues, in fact I support 100% socialized medicine, and am in favor of higher taxes on high income people. But I also am in favor of nationwide permitless carry with no local authority to override it, increased executions of criminals and a general toughening of prisons, and major cutbacks on private lawsuits. Also, I believe the country should declare immediate victory in the "war" on terror, and shut down the Department of Fatherland, er, Homeland Security and the TSA. |

I miss the nightlife of the east side bars and the discos...and clubs like Plato's Retreat. Back then (before Aids) if you couldn't get laid in NYC, it was time to join a monastery! |
