If that was directed at me (you replied to CMM), I decided to retire that image shortly before SubChat's "hiatus". You are welcome to bring it back, but you'll have to find it yourself, I deleted the bookmark.

Or this one always works 😂

If I lived in another state, I’d vote in that state’s election where my vote would actually count.

Food for thought here but as a life long democrat voter until 2020, I had made only two diversions from the norm of listening to the COPE and the TWU political action committees telling me to vote for in my younger days were Reagan and Guillani's terms. This despite him telling us we would kill people for striking in 99 and his involvement in the Air traffic controllers strike as Reagan's Council. That was about the time I matured a lot and looked at both sides of the picture and strayed towards conservatism, even though I had leaned towards Hillary over Trump in 16. I implore anyone in NY and NYC to just sit back and think how Hockul sat idle for 6 years under Cuomo while his book deal claiming credit for a failed Covid policy that killed more people while he directed his deputies to lie about those actual death rates profited him. He gave immunity to hospitals and nursing so New Yorkers couldn't sue for wrongful Covid deaths and turned down fedaral assistance of the USS comfort and She did nothing as Lieutenant Governor. She picked her own Lt who was convicted on fedferal cuorruption charges only 7 months after being selected and she got 25 million in campaign contributions as she moves forward on a 300 million BUffalo Bills stadium in which her husband who happens to run food courts and concessions in the current stadium and stands to win big. Crime was alot worse under Mario Cuomo and David Dinkins and the changes we got in NY made us alot better with the political reset we saw under Pataki and Guilani. I hear a lot of talk on voting for principals instead of Rs and Ds. The baby needs to go with the bathwater and this reset is due and desperately needed. Get out and vote. We cant continue to be stupid and keep voting for democrats just because they are or because we hate Trump so much. These are not BIll CLinton Democrats. Cuomo or Hocul could have called in National Guard for all the major looting we had during the Floyd Riots. Crime and poverty are now an agenda. Lee Zelden all the way. It is time for a change in NY.

They are, actually. Clinton was only held back by the 1994 midterms and the Republicans getting in; he desperately wanted to advance the far-left agenda.

It doesn’t really make Hochul a good candidate, but what do people expect a Lieutenant Governor to do exactly? I would have the same question about a Vice President. They don’t have any real powers or duties and are just there waiting for the president/governor to go. They’re not worth a warm bucket of piss.

And again, this isn’t a plus for Hochul, since I’m admitting she spent 7 years warming a chair, while Zeldin actually did things as a Congressman.

I’m not going to comment on the rest of your post as you’re clearly a conservative and I am not; there’s no point trying to convince each other on that.

Though I think Giuliani did some good things for NYC, I seriously didn't like what Pataki did. He basically cut direct aid to the MTA and instead forced it to borrow money for everything. It was thus stuck with huge debts it had to service. Also, I don't remember the details, but 1 or more of Pataki's associates ended up benefitting handsomely from it.
