Yes, she is. Along with her embarrassing pot smoking antics including the time she got into an argument with her Sgt. Detail bodyguard over smoking in a City vehicle.

No, I am from New York City, born and raised in Manhattan, and living in Jackson Heights (Queens). I have been to Chicago before during my lifetime, and it is indeed a great city all around. Perhaps it will be one of the destinations again that I can travel to, after I will eventually retire sometime this year in 2022.

And looking at those hot dogs made me hungry just by looking at that image you posted there.

I listened to WLS the entire time I lived in Urbana, IL (~125 miles south of Chicago) (July 1971-June 1974, except the summers of 1972 and 1973, which I spent with my grandmother in Brooklyn (in the house by the Newlots Av station on the 2)). Fairly good station.

Chicago and NYC pizzas are different, but I prefer Chicago.

Whenever I hear a NYer say that they have the "best _______ in the world", I can't help but roll my eyes. Do you guys ever travel? There are very few things that NYC is best at and maybe pizza is one of them depending on your preference, but it's a pretty bold claim.

I recall a coking show where they took one of NYC's top pizza restauranteurs on a trip that included Italy and he left saying that NYC was definitely the best but returned very humbled.

I think the old school Italians had recipes that were a secret.

The wheat flour is the same.

Cheese the same.

The sauce has to have a professional.

The Italian mafia always controlled suppliers in NY and NJ.

IIRC the cheese wasn't the same. I think that Italy has strict regulations that result in Italian mozzarella being far superior. If I remember correctly, the mozzarella used on pizzas here wouldn't even be allowed to be called mozzarella in Italy.
