Democrats Are Tone Deaf |

Posted by Train Dude on Mon May 16 11:40:14 2022 In New Jersey, democrats have an urgent issue.Not the high cost of energy. Not crime. Not huge tax burdens Not illegal immigrants in their state. Not even crumbling infrastructure. What do they worry about? Shippers shipping products in boxes that are larger than they need to be. The proposed penalty is a fine (naturally) for using a box at least twice as large as the item it contains. Now there is a close we can all get behind. |

It’s the environmental and solid waste committee; they’re not going to deal with the other issues you mentioned.And decreasing solid waste is a legitimate goal because recycling is a sham. |

Shippers shipping products in boxes that are larger than they need to be.Having worked a s shipping clerk in the early 70's,sometimes a box has to be larger than they need to be for proper packing to prevent damage during shipping. There has to be at least 20 or 3 inches around the item to protect the contents. The USPS comes to mind. Bill Newkirk |
