Amazon Web Services Outage |

Posted by Bob Andersen on Tue Dec 7 17:38:15 2021 For the last few hours I've been trying to add a new Ring security camera but I just couldn't get it to connect to the rest of my system. I just found out there was (or still is) an Amazon outage today that affected many different areas - such as Ring. Read about it HERE. |

I'll see if I was affected later tonight and tomorrow morning.I use AWS to probe and store the MTA's real time gtfs feeds for both the subways and buses. It's what I use for my subway AWOL report and bus speeds for before/after bus lane installations. |

I'm still not saving real time data from either the subway or bus gtfs-rt feeds. I can list stored data files. I have not tried to download any.I really don't want to know whether some of my applications are also down. It was a real quick and dirty job in 2017. I just don't have time to troubleshoot this right now. |
