First Cop At Arbery Shooting Scene Says It Was 'Unsafe' To Render First Aid To Victim |

Posted by JayZeeBMT on Tue Nov 9 14:05:51 2021 The first cop to arrive at the scene of Black jogger Ahmaud Arbery'sApparently, the presence of three armed good ol' boys compelled this cop to let Arbery die on the spot, when merely applying direct pressure to the young man's gunshot wound might have bought him precious, lifesaving minutes for an EMS crew to arrive and render more advanced treatment. Arbery's killing, which was recorded on video by one of the defendants, was ignored by the local DA (who is herself now under indictment for her handling of this case) for two full months, until the video was given to the media by the suspect who filmed it. The murder trial of the three I have very little expectation that justice will be served. |

There is zero evidence that Arbery was anything other than a jogger out for his daily run. Even though there is video of the killing, and the former DA is facing criminal charges, this is still the rural Deep South, and the case is being heard by an almost all-White jury. That does not inspire confidence in the outcome. |

I was using "you" in the very common sense of third person singular, more correctly but quaintly said as "one." |
