Australia was supposed to buy $90 billion worth of French conventional submarines but that deal was quashed when the US agreed to sell nuclear submarines to Austria, instead. |

When Trump was President his focus on China was seen as a diversion from the US' real nemesis - Russia. Now China appears to be clearly in Biden's target. I wonder what he learned about China as President that he didn't know as Senator?I was watching CNN and they said that the deal is part of the US' plan to strengthen ties with England and Australia (Anglo) and that sure sounds like something that started under Trump. |

If we suddenly stopped buying stuff from China the world economy would crash. Foreign policy toward both of them has to be nuanced, something that Trump was useless at. Someone was either his total friend or his total enemy. |
