After 1/6 Insurrection, Milley Took Steps To Protect Military, Nukes From Trump

Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, "'single-handedly took top-secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons', according to "Peril," a new book by legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa." The article also notes Milley took two top-secret phone calls from China's top general, who was highly disturbed over events surrounding the January 6 raid, and describes Trump as "unhinged and explosive, yelling at senior advisers and aides as he desperately sought to cling to power." Gen. Milley also agreed with Nancy Pelosi that Trump had been "crazy for a long time". Not to mention extremely dangerous...

I get that Trump is unhinged and is mentally unstable, but he was still the President. Set aside your hatred for Trump and imagine how it might play out if a general decided to coup a President that you supported. Imagine some General deciding that Biden is incompetent and telling other generals to go to him first before obeying Biden's orders. And then discussing diplomacy with other nations. That is a very slippery slope. But then, we've been sliding down that 3rd world slope for years. Let's just get there I guess. With American support.

I had to take a similar oath when I word the Census, as I was technically an employee of the Department of Commerce.
