Didn’t you get the memo? Anti-Semitism is acceptable to the left and the chickenshits like Chuck Schumer and Jerry Nadler do and say nothing for fear that the radicals will find someone to run against them in the primaries.

Once you understand this, you’ll have no need to question.

Anti-Semitism is acceptable to the left

Antisemitism is part of the left. Remember?

What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need; self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly god? Money.

Very well, then! Emancipation from huckstering and money—consequently from practical, real Judaism—will be the self-emancipation of our time.
That was Karl Marx. Talking like a national socialist, right? Nope; like what he was. Marx here is declaring that the destruction of Judaism (as he saw it, but also the actual religion) had to be part of his "revolution" and his goals could not be achieved without Judaism being eliminated.

Do you know why Heinrich Marx (né Herschel HaLevi) converted to Christianity? It wasn’t because he discovered the Good News of Jesus Christ. Because after Napoleon was defeated, Prussia took over his homeland (from France), and as Prussia had not emancipated the Jews as France did, he could no longer practice law without also becoming a Christian.

Think about that when someone tells you Napoleon was bad.

Collective memory. Ultimately, the memory of people who weren’t there is a better barometer of whether something will be remembered, because eventually everyone with first hand experience will be gone.

I actually have heard of The Virginian, but I will say it’s no Gunsmoke or Bonanza.

I’ll also say that I have heard of The Man from UNCLE but don’t know any of its characters or anything about it other than it’s something about espionage. I don’t even know if it was a drama or sitcom.

Forgot about that. Whenever I see him in any movie I imagine him saying "George, Marion!!" Two things I love about North by Northwest. One is the great acting by Eva Marie Saint. Her role as a sexy spy was so completely different than the very shy religious girl Edie in On the Waterfront that if you didn't know it was the same actress you'd never believe it.

The other thing I love about the movie was as a background actor/extra, I love the blooper by the young kid extra who puts his fingers in his ears before Saint pulls out her gun and shoots Cary Grant. He must have been tired of hearing the bang take after take. Hitchcock had a sense of humor so I think he deliberately left it in. Watch the kid in blue sitting with his parents:
