I did vote for her in her original primary challenge to incumbent Congressman Crowley, but I didn't realize the full extent of her positions at that time. I voted against her in the general election, and in both the primary and the general election when she ran for re-election.

Did you actually read what I wrote? The only time I supported AOC was in a Democratic Party primary, when I didn't yet realize the extent of her socialist leanings. I voted against her (meaning for her Republican opponent) both times that she ran in a general election.

I always wonder how people know these things. Do you watch all of the networks and tally coverage of AOC or is there a reference where someone else does? I watch very little CNN and even less Fox, so I really have no idea and can't recall seeing much of her on either, but I feel like I've seen her a little on both. Maybe Tucker Carlson or whatever commentary shows Fox has that I've never seen talk about her to rile up their base?

Even I would vote for AOC in the general. Years ago I would have been OK risking a Republican majority in the House to vote for someone I liked better, but not any more. At this point the Democratic nominee would have to be a convicted felon (and a serious felony, not drug-related) or of similarly ill repute for me to vote for anyone else.
