The one stupid typo. The art museum is empty. Even if one bar went into the museum, it's so big I couldn't even find the people nor get within 9 feet of them if they were there. It's pathetic.

Health Commissioner can only recommend.
Was Sharpton's outside or inside ?

Colleges are shutting down. SUNY Oneonta already did. The infections were out of control, 50% of all of SUNY's 68 locations.

People 18-21 are driving NJ's numbers up now, and their positivity rate is now 7%. State's overall is 2%. Yes, they go to bars.

Everyone accepts that those protests spread COVID.

It does seem like outdoor events don't spread it much. There never was any big fallout from the Mount Rushmore event.

I don't see this as such a big deal. Lots of countries have a bicameral legislature with an appointed upper house. Canada, the UK, and Russia are three examples (Russia is of course a bad example). I actually think this would be better than the current setup. The Senate right now is a legislative body that gives people in less populous states far more representation than the more populous states, which is spectacularly undemocratic. Going back to legislative appointment at least would make the Senate once again serve as the representative of the states themselves, and not the people, so it would actually make sense for Wyoming to have the same number of senators as California.

There were two things on the national level that undermined media and medical community credibility on this:
-Initially advising against mask wearing entirely, because they were afraid of people buying up N95 masks, when they should have said 'buy/make (literally any other mask) for personal use' which is what Asia has been doing since day 1.
-Shit like this: Over 1,000 health professionals sign a letter saying, Don't shut down protests using coronavirus concerns as an excuse
And this: Doctors blocking RW protests juxtaposed with Doctors joining and enthusiastically supporting LW protests

This pretty much killed MSM / medical industry credibility and at this point, they cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube. at least 40% of this country does not give two fucks what politicians, the media or "expterts" say, and it's the fault of those same politicians, media and experts.

People should NOT buy N95 masks because they have to be professionally fitted, and most cannot be washed.

The medical industry credibility has NOT been killed, even though you right wingers have no use for it, which is why we are hitting 200,000 deaths tomorrow, 22% of the world's with 4% of the population. Didn't get to fill the churches in Easter 2020 did we ?

Fauci's credibility in the polls are triple of Trumps, because most know ever clause that comes oy of Trump's mouth is a lie, and the Woodward interview proved it beyond a doubt with Trump's own voice.

Stupid, lying Trump has now sidelined Redfield and Fauci for saying the truth about the timing of the vaccines and about masks. Vax will NOT be ready on Nov 1. Think July 1.

Absurd.

I have worn an N95 mask every single minute I have been out of the house since March 16th. With a little care I can make sure all my inhales and exhales go through the mask and not around it.

Covid viruses die pretty quickly. I alternate masks daily. When I come back inside I take off my mask and put it somewhere I won't touch it until I am ready to go back out again. I immediately wash my hands after touching it, either when I've taken it off or when I've just put it on.
