I actually use the arrows on my remote (optimum) which lets you see what is on each channel, but lets you keep the current channel you are watching on. You just select "okay" when you see something you would rather see.I would never want to limit what I can watch. I am not so closed minded to think some channels may never have something I want to see on. |

That's the program guide.Since you don't watch every channel, you are already limiting what you watch. I remove the foreign language channels from my main channel list because there is almost no chance whatsoever that I will ever want to tune to them, so I remove them from the channel list to decrease clutter. And do you subscribe to every single channel just because you don't want to limit what you can see? I don't. I don't see what's so weird about removing channels that you never want to watch but are forced to subscribe to through bundling. |

Not even close.You have two buttons on the remote. One is the actual channel up and down, the other is the arrows you use to go through the menus. There's up and down, and left to right. the up and down "flip" you through the channels while having a full screen, it just says what's the channel is and what's on at the bottom. The left and right menu buttons will let you "flip" through whatever channel you found interesting at later or earlier times on that channel. They are the arrows around the menu select buttons. All this can be done while actually watching a full screen of the actual channel you already have on. |
