If they allowed people to claim the possibility of COVID as a reason to request to vote by mail and the deadline for the request was sufficiently in advance of Election Day I would not have an issue. My problem is when vote by mail states are just sending out ballots without any prior request to those on the voter roll. If it is the former and the person decides to vote on election day then the election board knows to disregard a vote by mail ballot from that person. |
