This information (lasting organ damage) has been around in one form or another for months. Corroboration is helpful, of course, and information on the heart effects is maybe a bit newer.

What I would like is some rough estimate of the ratio of outcomes of long term disability vs. death. Is it 2-1, or what? The long term organ damage worries me more than death.

This was out the other day but I wasn’t sure if the study was large enough and it didn’t really get much play in the news.

The short story is that even people with mild or no symptoms could face lasting heart damage.

This is new information. This is about how people that aren’t even hospitalized and have mild or no symptoms can still have heart damage.

It’s relatively new in the medical field even for people that are hospitalized. They weren’t always tested for triponin or CKs. It’s relatively new.

I'm not seeing that in the article. Only that people who got sick, though not necessarily sick enough to be hospitalized.

Not that I'm planning any experiments myself.

Ok. It doesn’t say mild but currently Afaik only people that are hospitalized are even tested for heart damage.
