Hillary's qualifications worked against her to many people - Trump was like rolling a die for random chaos/ineffectiveness, while Hillary would have been a controlled, calculated and unstoppable force. If you didn't like either platform, unqualified actually worked in Trump's favor.This is one possible way 2020 might be in Biden's favor. People think he's demented and will be ineffective - Trump 2020 is in Hillary 2016 shoes, the person many people are angry at, while Biden is the chaos/ineffective vote. I actually think Hillary would have a chance now - she would crush the far left with a big 'ol smile on her face and the entirety of the media and intel communities would back her up in the process. Trump wants to crush the far left but due to not playing ball with the establishment, he lacks the backchannel support to get it done. |
