Posted by ntrainride on Tue Jun 30 04:11:32 2020 which seems odd. it's not my native tongue. and i don't do some type of internal translation. i see a cat i see a gato. depends on the mood i'm in.i'll be walking along and suddenly realize all my thoughts have been in spanish. not, my thoughts were in english and i converted them to spanish. i guess everybody who speaks more than one language experiences this. it's strange though...sort of gives you an indirect "easter egg" peek into the brain's core operating system. meaning, because it's almost as though i can observe both the english and the spanish "consciousness" running concurrently, being able to experience that lets me see aspects of how it functions by picking up scraps of information on that process. |
