When I hear black men talk about being stopped "countless" times by police, no, those feelings reflect reality.

People say if one life is saved by staying home during COVID than it's worth it.

You can probably say that same about stop-n-frisk. If a life is saved by getting an illegal gun out of someone's hands it's worth it.

No, our country was founded on the opposite assumption. That's what the Fourth Amendment is about.

That is incorrect:

"The White Lion and the Treasurer had sailed from a Dutch port in 1619. That summer they captured the São João Bautista and seized 50 men and women, perhaps all the two ships had room to transport. The pirates/privateers immediately sailed to Point Comfort. Virginia was a familiar destination for the Treasurer. Deputy governor Samuel Argall was a part owner, and the Treasurer had transported Pocahontas to England in 1616.

John Rolfe reported to the Virginia Company later that the White Lion arrived first, near the end of August, with about half of the people stolen from the Portuguese ship. The ship captain needed to make a sale in Virginia; taking his stolen cargo to a Spanish settlement was not an easy alternative, and there was no market for a shipload of Africans in England."-A History Of Slavery In Virginia, Thurmond, R., Palladium, 1981.

Is your cognitive dissonance that bad oh, that you can't even accept history? When the Portuguese discovered West Africa in the mid-1400s, that's where they were introduced to the notion of chattel slavery. When local tribes for each other, they made their prisoners into slaves, and bartered them. Should I now deny the whole European slavery issue, that has been going on in the Mediterranean region since time immortal?

Exporting the practice of slavery to North America was a strictly European practice. Even in the 17th century, chattel slavery was known to be wrong, but that didn't stop it from coming to the "New World". Preserving white superiority and keeping Black people in their "place" as a labor source was apparently high on the list of priorities for the colonizers of Virginia.

Well obviously, Europeans were the ones who discovered America! However, they got their slaves in Africa from black slavers, who got their slaves, in turn, by Chieftains that were holding prisoners.

No I am not. JayZee hates white people and basically class all white people hate blacks and we're involved in slavery. No one alive today was responsible. Furthermore, if whites can be blamed for slavery, them how come they can't be acknowledged that they also ended slavery?
