LAPD Shoots ‘Less Lethal’ Rounds Directly At Homeless Man Who Was Not Protesting |

Posted by https://salaamallah.com/ on Fri Jun 5 19:26:37 2020 LAPD Shoots ‘Less Lethal’ Rounds Directly At Homeless Man Who Was Not ProtestingDAILY BOULDER  A protest in downtown Los Angeles that drew thousands this week ended with dozens of demonstrators arrested and several injured after LAPD officers fired rubber bullets as dozens entered an apartment building seeking refuge with the help of one of the residents who opened the door. As they move against the protesters, the officers shot a homeless man in a wheelchair right above his left eye, drawing blood and a large welt. Paramedics tended to the man, but his condition was unclear. LAPD spokeswoman Officer Rosario Cervantes said the department had no comment on the incident at this time. A photo of the man and his injury was being reviewed by the department.
