Got there and it was in the 70s. The next day it was in the 40s. We took the train ride along Lake Superior. The wind was whipping the water ontonthe shore causing an amazing spray. |

I hope not on vacation. That would suck. I was there in Sept. They have a DMIR Yellowstone Locomotive in the museum. #227 which happens to be the # of the model that I own. Had to see the real one. Got to see one of the massive ore docks in operation too. Also played poker atthe Black Bear casino. |

I didn't have the time or interest to explore locally.I've also been to Minneapolis many times and other than the bad winter weather and hotter than you think summer weather, it's one of my favorite cities in the US. I don't really know why as there's nothing too special, but it seems to work. |

He's saying that most of the people that moved there generations ago came from Scandinavia and other Northern European areas where people had adapted to a lessor amount of sun over thousands of years. |
