Posted by ClearAspect on Wed Apr 1 08:00:45 2020

February 26
“The 15 cases within a couple of days is going to be down close to zero”

March 10
“It will go away...just stay calm... it will go away”

March 31
"A lot of people were saying think of it as the flu, but it's not the flu," he said. "It's vicious."

Your point being? As the pandemic worsened he started listening to his expert advisors. Other than TDS, what are you trying to say?

TDS?

His experts were telling him since January.

Why cant we be critical of how he handled it, why are you using the biggest pussy tactic?

I guess youre his antibody shielding him from criticism.

Here's the thing about that: McConnell and the GOP are trying to defend Trump by claiming the impeachment trial "distracted" the president from responding to the coronavirus pandemic in a timely manner.

HOWEVER...

Trump was so very "distracted " by the Impeachment hearings and trial, that he held public rallies on:

-Jan 19th
-Jan 24th
-Jan 28th
-Jan 30th
-Feb 10th
-Feb 19th
-Feb 20th
-Feb 21st
-Feb 28th

This alleged "distraction" didn't stop him from golfing on:

- Jan 18th
- Jan 19th
- Feb 1st
- Feb 15th
- Mar 7th
- Mar 8th

But, of course Impeachment hearings and the trial stopped him from responding to the Coronavirus. Yet, this didn't stop Trump from saying this crisis would be over by April, because he had a "hunch".

It wasn't until March 13 that Trump said, for the first time this viral plague was a serious problem. Even after that, Trump still said he wanted people back running the streets "by Easter".

I get the overwhelming impression that the only reason Trump did a two-hour presser warning us that the "next two weeks are going to be painful", and that hundreds of thousands of people--minimum--might possibly die of this virus, is because Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx finally got fed up, sat him down, and gave him an unforgettable no-shitter.

So stop with the "TDS" nonsense. Your boy Trump had weeks to be proactive, and he wasn't interested in doing that.

How quickly we forget:

I can agree that Trump didn't take it seriously enough in February.

However the Democrats did fuck-all about it in February and were actively undermining the little that was being done.
