What year?There was no NYC public school curriculum teaching much of this. My English teacher Ms Rosenberg had us read Night by Elie Weisel and told us she was doing her part to increase Holocaust awareness. This was 1988-89 and I seriously doubt Night is read by many zoned NYC students. She was a good teacher. I got 85 on Regents which was good for me. |
