It i just too much trouble to wipe everything a customer at a table could touch.

I have heard of hardware stores who let in one customer at a time, then wipe everything they touch after they go.

Most bank branches are closed. Some, like M&T, are appointment only.

It's risk/reward. We have to buy food to survive. Trader Joes limits amount of people in the store. We don't have to sit in a restaurant and be served to survive.

Exactly. In a small town, it's the same people over and over. In NYC it's exponentially more people. It's not just the number of people, it's the large numbers of different people that causes the spread.

Better to have as few of them out there as possible.

Wegmans and Trader Joes, you wait behind line at the start of the conveyer belt until told to proceed.

Wegmans is using only alternate checkout lanes.

My local Shoprite from what I hear is a congested mess. I don't go there anymore. They kept a HEP-A secret for weeks last October, then my county offered free HEP-A vax's to shoppers. I got one. I don't trust Shoprite anymore.

There was a US Constitution before the amendments you know.

But I do mean the first amendment that guarantees us the rig to peacefully assembly. We know that's been disallowed in many places.

Also guarantees freedom of religion. I recall reading people being arrested in NJ at what appeared to be a religious wedding.
