Trump accuses his own appointee of perpetrating a hoax

Posted by AlM on Fri Feb 21 12:58:22 2020

You can't make this stuff up.

The alleged hoax, a House briefing, came from the organization of Joseph Maguire, appointed by Trump as Acting Director of National Intelligence on 8/16/2019.

Yes you can make this stuff up. The fake news media does it all the time.

Didn't want to use a Beobachter Slimes link this time, I see. Just a Washington Compost one via MSN.

Are you alleging that Trump did not call this a hoax? That MSN made it all up?

And Maguire is still there.

Maguire's gone; he was booted yesterday. What "news" are you reading??

Trump accused the Democrats of the hoax, not Maguire. Knock it off, Beobachter.

He accused the Democrats of perpetrating a hoax that was actually "perpetrated" by Maguire.

You love Trump more than you love your god. That's the only explanation for your obvious belief in the doctrine of Trumpal infallibility.

That's what he's citing? I didn't even bother to click the OP. I saw some fake outrageous headline elsewhere and moved on.

It's become like a religion. One attributes good things to god and bad things to the devil.

Trump is god and the Democrats are the devil. THIW.

I don't know the true nature of God, I just know that He is lighter than air.

Ah, thank you for the crucial correction, and confirming that he was in his position when the House briefing was held.

I note that you don't deny that Maguire's people gave the briefing, and that Maguire was appointed by Trump. So you've confirmed the facts in the news article that you derided.

And yet Democrats have such magical powers that they were able to induce Maguire into producing this "hoax."

?????? Where did I say that?
I did say Trump deserves credit for where we are now, 3 years into his presidency. Can you point me to the post(s) where I claimed it was a mess prior to 2017?

Are you disputing anything of the facts in my original post?

If not, do you think that our president is engaged in appropriate behavior?
