What about the different ethnic groups (German, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Chinese, Korean, etc.)here in America? Is it negative or positive. |

Rail Blue, Nixon started this crap of racial types when he gave his OK to give a separate racial rating for Hispanics, a term that I find kind of ridiculous in the first place. Anglos are supposed to be whites and that is so, but remember Iraqis, Turks, Lebanese, etc are considered Caucasian; in fact since they are closer to the Caucasus Mountains they could claim to be the true original whites along with the Armenians and Azerbajanians and Georgians. Hell, now even my Italian relatives are called Anglo. Hispanics are NOT brown; they are a combination of white and red, Spanish and Native American. Yellow refers to most of the people of Asia, and black to people who originate from Central and So. Africa. (sorry, Egyptians are white, too) India? That's a tough call. And so is this whole subject. Does anyone really give a shit what someone else is? There is so much interchange anyway that it is sometimes hard to even try to make a list of who is who. I mean Italian is Anglo? Who the hell thought that one up? |
