Which sucks because then the names get unnecessarily mispronounced. Polish spelling rules are perfectly fine for writing the Polish language, but since the rules are different from English rules, it’s bad to use them for translating between two other languages. |

I wouldn't be surprised whether it's "vitch" or "vits" but I don't actually know. All I know is that a c in Czech is pronounced "ts." |
