By keeping a low profile I was able to emerge from the weekend relatively intact and unscathed, untied and undefeated.Now you people best listen up. And if it is unavoidable and you do have to engage, then make sure you engage it on your terms...Sun - Tzu Over the weekend I took a brief respite from these boards to reflect and otherwise gather myself after my almost incomprehensible series of defeats. Now, I am slowly reentering the fray that is SubChat, OTChat, and to a lesser extent, BusChat. It took me years but I know now what I thought back then; that is, I need to pick and choose my battles carefully. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results - I keep going after people in threads I have no business entering but I let foolish pride get in the way of common sense. My intellect on these boards is ranked in the 5th or 95th percentile whichever one of those things is the bad one let's not kid ourselves. Look it, I understand there is no shame in losing to the likes of the mysterious sinclair or one Stephen Bauman, a highly functioning savant, or Jayman, who is a genius, but my track record against the quote lesser lights close quote on this board you know who you are is poor... I mean really poor. |
