Anyone at KEWR?

Posted by cortelyounext on Mon Oct 21 07:14:38 2019

Another day, another early morning FSB (Field Standby). Anyone else here? I’ll buy the coffee.

Unless assigned, I’ll be here at Flight Operations commiserating which means talking with my fellow stewardii regardless of said stewardii quote orientation.close quote. My suggestion? Take a train or boat you’ll be better off for it.

There are people at KEWR, but that's in Cedar Rapids IA.

Spent a couple weeks there training at Rockwell. Anyway, thanks for attacking in mid-October for no apparent reason.

You could have easily set aside whatever it was you were doing and taken LIRR to the subway to PATH to the gondola or whatever that thing is called that or which connects the airport terminals and meet up for a cup of coffee (small) and then go back to the Island. Really no excuse.

Look it, I know was the beginning of the work week and whatnot but there are like 60 or 600 of you people who post on the SubChat boards on a daily basis. Surely, even by mistake, some of you were free to summit with me at the airport.

This was an exercise in futility. I even opened the summit up to the masses since I am 0 for 8 with respect to successfully completing a scheduled one on one rendezvous as I was stood up and left standing alone in any number of terminals despite being at the agreed upon place at the agreed upon time. I knew, I mean I just knew, none of you would show up. Once again, I was proved correct.

It just reinforces what I already know and that is I am held in utter contempt scorn disgust call it what you will in the eyes of you people. A lot of that is deserved, I get it, but still...

You go to hell Dave from the Metroplex. Also can you please be more specific about the tornado sounding like a freight train? There are all different sounds a freight train makes depending on the power and whether it is straining uphill like the Horseshoe Curve in Pennsylvania or open throttle on interminable which means endless straightaways like you find in G-dawful Texasss. Will you just answer the question already.

No apparent reason?

Using communist UN ICAO codes is an attack on all Americans.

You go to hell. I can use the ICAO, IATA, or FAA LID codes whenever I so choose and I so choose. I am the Chosen One although I will neither confirm nor deny that I am one of the Chosen People. The Jets suck you see what I did there?

A legitimate question. It sounded (past tense intended. The last tornado I went through was in the early 2000's) like a trio of SD70s going up a 3% grade in Run 8 and barely moving.
