IAWTPSomeone encouraging for me personally, as I have family roots in NC. My maternal grandparents were born and raised in NC, and moved to Brooklyn the year before my mother was born. I may still have a few relatives living there, alas, I am not in touch with them. IIRC, Obama won NC at least once. |

But this district is 14 points redder than the country as a whole, and Trump won it by 12 points in 2016, while Bishop won it by 2 points. |
