Having lived in hurricane prone areas I know that the message as to where hurricanes are heading is very fluid. While people want the information to be as accurate as possible (and Trump's certainly wasn't) very few people are going to panic as the forecast changes because it changes so often. |

Even while the storm was stalled over the Bahamas, the forecast called for it to turn NNE and hug the coast, which is exactly what Dorian did.Except for one early strand in a spaghetti model that brushed one corner of extreme northwestern Florida, no projections even came close to Alabama. |
