The Democrats should do everything possible to block confirmation hearings for any Trump SCOTUS nominee, should RBG pass away.

After all, McConnell used the specious argument that a President should not nominate SCOTUS judges in the last year of his term, to block Obama's nominee.

But you know and I know that's not gonna happen. Another Trump SCOTUS Justice will be appointed, whether the Dems want it or not. Unless of course, 2 miracles happen. 1 is she is still alive, which could happen. I don't wish any ill will towards her, as that's not my style. 2 is if Trump somehow manages to lose next year's election, in which right now Bruce Jenner has a better chance of getting pregnant than that happening.

Because Democrats in the House won’t let it come to a vote and in his first time he would risk getting re-elected. As a lame duck any of those filters are gone. Trump specifically mentioned if he won and Republicans took back the House while keeping the Senate.

In 2017-2018, the GOP had the House and Senate, and the government still shut down FOUR times. That does not speak well of their ability to legislate.

Trump has gotten by so far on his luck. That is about to change.
