I didn't read it. I assume that was the case when the Democrats ran all of those advertisments calling on electors to defect and not vote for Trump.

And then Hilarity got a record number of electors who defected against the vote. How come no one ever mentions that?

There were faithless electors in 2016; didn't hurt Trump.
