I flew San Diego to San Francisco to Orlando last Saturday but never made it. Instead, I ended up at something called Ft Myers Regional Southwest instead. The pilots deviated like a hundred miles over the Gulf before making "circles in the sky" in multiple holding patterns due to quote unquote convective activity and SIGMET boxes until they hit joker bingo minimum call it what you will fuel before bugging out. I wish the pilots would just use simple language that people like myself can understand. I served the new Bruges Confectionary cookies and Maple Wafers and by all accounts those things were a hit.I end up in Las Vegas late tomorrow and Tampa late Friday. There will be no summit at Airside "A'" Loading Dock in Tampa understand that.  |

No matter how many times they scream it, and google proclaims it, the Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of matzoball soup (on a Saturday) is not a jewish diet. I bet you are talking about Wolowitz' mothers brisket. Pastrami on rye, etc. Which is a funny aside, last Saturday was a special occasion, so one of the options was deli meat. But, it is not an invalid assumption, this reminds me of an now embarrassing thing to think about when I worked in a hotel a century ago. I think one of the options of food in the restaurant binder we had listed one of these fake chain deli's. I hope that didn't cause any issues in retrospect. The Jewish Diet, which is rarely followed, says no gluttony. Eat what it takes to feed the body and nothing more. Don't put too much food on your plate that there is any left over. There's the animal urges, and there is what the soul urges. Some of the most religious figures barely eat anything in a day. I, of course am not on that level. Sitting on a computer makes me snackish, combined with not moving. yada yada |

Everybody should buy kosher certified foods. It means the product has not been adulterated, and I have a list of these scandals, including those of fake pork. I just got back from the Wal-Mart. They had Jelly on clereance. 25 cents a jar (which is like 90% off!). It was not Kosher. I was tempted, but resisted. What makes Jelly non-kosher? The amount of bugs they grind up into chunks in there. (and some other stuff too that's not as gross) I'll stick to smuckers instead, it's Kosher. When I go into Winn-Dixie or Publix, and they have canned mushrooms, 79 cents for ones from thailand without a kosher seal, and one for 78 cents with Pittsburgh Steel, and a Kosher cert, guess which I'm getting? I want to find an answer someday of why you can eat pork and I cannot. But regardless, EVERYBODY should buy a kosher product if they have a choice between two brands, one kosher, and one not. Who knows what adulterated garbage you're consuming. I don't know anything about the Israeli Study or really what they do there. Different kind of people. But you should try schwarma. One of the only 3 decent people on Youtube is from New Zealand and travels around the world. Once he hit the Near East, he's addicted. |

There hasn't been an ATL-TLV nonstop in many years. Delta opted to consolidate its separate JFK-TLV and ATL-TLV flights, each of which operated a 767, in to a single JFK-TLV flight operated by a 747. I believe they are now operating somewhere between 11 and 14 flights each week on the JFK-TLV route. I haven't heard anything about ATL restarting anytime soon. |

Considering MCO isn't a hub for anyone and El Al isn't in an alliance (though it does partner with JetBlue and Alaska in the US), it is unclear what group of evangelicals would want to fly XXX-MCO-TLV.Orlando makes little sense for El Al as a destination. This is either heavily subsidized or it won't last long. |

I think not. Meanwhile, El Al either has to place a security team in Orlando to work a once a week flight or has to shuttle them to and from Miami each week.El Al is an afterthought for many. It only starts service on routes several years after its competitors do (SFO) or flies to locations that don't appear to be logical by any means (LAS, MCO) while continuing to leave other locations (BWI, ORD is restarting some time soon but it remains on the list until then). I haven't bought a ticket on El Al in nearly 10 years, and last flew them on a codeshare through SWISS. From what I've read, their business class product sucks. Evangelicals aren't going to save El Al from itself. |

It has one of the largest Israeli populations outside of Israel and has three nonstop flights a week to Tel Aviv. If American decided it was worth ending its standoff with TWA's former employees in Israel and restarted its service there, then there would be even more options from Miami. Also, one can fly JetBlue to JFK or BOS and then switch to El Al there via a codeshare. No need to go via Orlando, which isn't a hub for anyone. |
