Posted by JayZeeBMT on Fri Feb 15 17:24:31 2019 The NFL has settled out of court with former quarterback Colin Kaepernick, in a case arising out of the league's handling of the athlete's kneeling in protest of racial injustice in the United States.The amount was confidential, but sources close to the case say it was north of $80 million. I think Kaep deserves every penny. |

He eventually struggled, and was demoted to backup as Gabbert became the starter. Kaepernick competed for starter the next season but lost out to Gabbert and later in the season Kaepernick became stater again. I think it was the next offseason when he opted out of his contract as it was likely that he would be cut. |
