As a lifelong registered Democrat whose Progressive ideology is sound enough for one LuchAAA to include me on the List, I am seriously considering running for the 2020 Democratic nomination for POTUS. I have already floated trial balloons which means projects tentatively announced in order to test public opinion which makes me feel cautiously optimistic that I already have a bloc of votes wrapped up from the SubChat, OTChat, and, to a lesser extent, BusChat boards. As of 102130Z(Universal Time Coordinated) FEB 19, I am the fourth or sixteenth Democrat to announce. I realize it is a long shot but then so were the campaigns of Clinton and Obama each of who or whom went on to become the G.O.A.T. Although I will position myself to the left of Ocasio Cortez I will campaign on a platform that will not blindly follow the precepts tenets doctrine call it what you will of any individual or partisan agenda. Aside from public matching funds, I resolve to raise money solely through public matching funds and through quote unquote grass root organizations; that is, I will refuse any financial contributions from PACs, legal or otherwise.
When Oklahoma played Nebraska in college football some years ago, the Sooners knelt down in their locker room and were led in prayer by one of the players who stated the following:
"G-d, please bless us as we go forth into battle. Allow each of us to realize our potential as Christian men and perform to the utmost of our ability. We ask that you keep us in your care and protect us from harm. And please G-d, do not let the best team win. Amen."
So, in the spirit of Ron Burgundy, what I'm saying is I still have a chance.
