Yep, you have. Adding immigrants whose crime rates are lower than average also lowers the overall crime rate, thus increasing total crimes but decreasing the average individual's chance of being the victim of a crime.

My statement is exactly as correct if you substitute "illegal aliens" for "immigrants."

And I didn't say you were a Detective (which would be a title). I said you were a detective (which is a general job description and doesn't imply a specific title). Anyone who solves crimes is a detective even if they do not have the title of Detective.

I wouldn't dispute that MS-13 is a very serious law enforcement concern. But I just don't see any of them coming into the US by walking over the border in a place where there is no fence.

If they were, some would be getting apprehended on that route, and some would get into gun battles with the Border Patrol, making lots of big headlines.
