Which must one take pause WRT trump. He hired him. What's with that? (Aside from an inexplicable desire for insufficient legal representation)

Businessmen like 45 have this thing that the more legal action they can throw in the way of anything, the more they can divert attention from themselves.

Obviously it really doesn't work that way that often.

No, it doesn't. Every one of his bankruptcies got plenty of coverage in the press.

But if you ask 45, he'll deny he ever went bankrupt (and he has denied
it).

Most of the times he'll resign from a company 2 weeks before bankruptcy is filed so he can say "he never went bankrupt".
