Presumption of innocence only applies at trial though.If it applied at arraignment, there would be no bail and no one would ever be remanded because how can you jail an innocent person? Because Kegvanaugh was never put on trial, the presumption of innocence is irrelevant. I can draw whatever conclusions I want. Just like I can believe George Zimmerman is guilty of murder while simultaneously agreeing with the jury verdict in his trial. |
