Whether he's a RINO or not doesn't matter; if he's not there to vote, that's what matters (unless you're saying he was going to vote against Kavanaugh).

Good to know. I just read a news story that said Daines called Kavanaugh and personally reassured him that "he has made arrangements to be there to get him across the finish line as needed."

Non-story, no matter what.

Collins and Murkowski will vote the same way on this for self-protection, no matter what. Daines' vote won't matter. Kavanaugh will either have 501 votes opposing him or 49, not 50.

And if it did matter they could always put the vote off till Monday morning.
