Why is there such backlash at being different? What makes the name Steve or John acceptable and Daquan not? Somewhere in history there was the first to name their child Steven and obviously it caught on. It's not like mankind was created with alongside a book of acceptable names. Me personally wouldn't give my child those name thinking ahead professionally speaking (might be harder getting jobs and even that's a societal bias that's not right). I don't understand this obsession to be undemarkable or unoriginal. |
