Sunset Park school district

Well, Komrade Wilhelm signed the bill that forces schools to discontinue admissions tests in order to get into junior high schools. There is going to be a lottery system instead, 52% of seats reserved for "minorities", low inome. homeless families, and people who don't speak english. Basically the smart kids will get fucked, with the "diversity programing" watering down academia fornthe Great Unwashed.

IT gets even worse. A PERFORMING ARTS school can no longer audition prospective students. WTF! WTF! Unfuckingbelievable!! Unfuckingbelievable!

Parents and even teachers at a Brooklyn performing arts school were shocked to learn Friday that the school can no longer audition prospective students under the district’s new diversity plan.

Families at the New Voices School of Academic and Creative Arts in Sunset Park were blindsided by the news a day after Mayor Bill de Blasio approved a scheme to scrap admissions standards at all middle schools in District 15.

“I had no idea this was happening. I’m going to have to go to a meeting, call someone,” said longtime district resident Eddie Rosario, 57, who has a seventh-grader at the school and another daughter hoping to attend next year.

“My other daughter wants to go here, too. If they’re doing away with auditions … I’m going to have to talk to someone. What’s next? Are they changing the process at the arts high schools, too?”

Until now, New Voices — the only performing arts middle school in the Park Slope-to-Sunset Park district — has selected students through auditions and interviews.

But entry will now be based on a lottery — and half the seats will be reserved for low-income, homeless and English-language-learning applicants.

That was news to many parents who spoke to The Post outside the school Friday morning — and several teachers also said they had no idea......................

I know! I read that article and that was one of The Inspirations to make me write this. Plus it was on the news 2 days ago. Guess what people? Sometimes diversity does water things down and everyone knows it! Only the best, most qualified people should be the ones pic first, everyone else either is shit out of luck or they have to study harder or get more talented.

Yes, I remember open enrollment. It created lots and lots of jobs for community colleges and remedial math and reading teachers.

I was talking about the meatballs, not the sauce. Obviously authentic homemade sauce is better, but Rao's is really good if you haven't tried it.

only thing wrong with the List is that I somehow forgot AlM who is the biggest supporter of all of dismantling specialized education.
