Rumor has it that the partial loss of pension benefits might be the least of his legal problems. The status of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page are next up. Collusion to arrange a meeting with a judge friend in the FISA Court is under the microscope. Flynn plea coercion is now being reviewed. The lights are on and the rats are scurrying for cover. I know that you, JZ and bingbong will discount these revelations because in your minds your ends justify the means. Most Americans, though, want the truth. They recommended his firing because he allowed reporters to talk to the WSJ about an ongoing investigation. The subsequent article damaged Clinton's reputation and helped elect Trump.

He allowed reporters to talk to the WSJ? McCabe leaked sensitive details about the FBI’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation to a WSJ reporter and then lied about it to the IG’s office. That's why the FBI’s Office of Personal Responsibility recommended his firing.

He wasn't charged with letting Strzok run amok, or anything like that. He was charged with lack of candor concerning allowing an interview that damaged Clinton.
