I kindof agree. At the very least, the Republican candidate would have won the popular vote *and* the electoral vote, and there wouldn't be so much bitching and moaning coming from the left.I don't think we'd have gotten the sweet tax cuts, though. The only Presidential action which has thus far directly affected me did so in a positive way. |

Why would Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio have won the popular vote and the electoral vote? They would have had real trouble in PA, WI, and MI. I'd say it's not knowable. |

The "never Clinton" army was much stronger than the "never Trump" army. With a real Republican there would have been more people actually voting *for* the R candidate. The ones voting against Clinton could be assumed to be in the bag. |
