Restraining Order

I don't get it.

- Trump has a restraining order against Stormy Daniels.

- Trump has never had sex with her.

- Trump has never authorized a payment to her.

- Trump's lawyer says he paid her money of his own volition and has never been paid back.

What kind of restraining order can Trump have against her if he's never actually engaged in any arrangement of any kind with her?

Excellent question. My take is that Trump's legal team will now try to paint Daniels as some kind of delusional, unhinged stalker.

I hope she really does come up with Trump's DNA, on that "Monica Lewinsky" dress she's supposed to have.

He's a small-handed misogynist, who apparently thinks he has something to prove. I have no doubt he is well aware of his having dispatched his attorney to "do something" about an affair after the Access Hollywood tape became public. Don't forget this happened on 28 Oct 2016.

If he says it, I will believe it until other circumstances say otherwise. I don't know the guy, I wasn't with him when he paid her off so he gets the benefit of the doubt, like everyone else does, until although circumstances come out to prove it different

I believe that he did so based on a non-binding oral commitment, probably not in front of witnesses, from Trump to repay him. This is how Trump has made his money.

You didn't see yesterday's White House press briefing, obviously. Sarah Huckabee Sanders admitted on live television, that Trump was connected to his lawyer's hush money payment to Daniels.

Trump is reportedly "furious" at Sanders for letting that slip, and there is--surprise, surprise!--no daily press briefing scheduled for today.
